Colleagues, hello.

I continue the construction of model of the JS-4 tank.
I started doing wings regiments:

I remade wings regiments in forward part of model (I made as it is necessary on early JS-4 tanks).
I established elements of fastening of wings shelves to the tank case.

I started doing additional fuel tanks:

Colleagues, thanks for the interest shown to my model.
I continue.
I made boxes for storage of tools, artillery accessories and personal belongings of crew. Also I made the container for oil.

On a turret I established elements which fixed hatches in open situation.

On the tank case I fixed a log.

Hello, colleagues.

I continue tank construction.

On additional fuel tanks I established fuel branch pipes and atmospheric tubes.

On a turret I established elements of fastening of a machine gun (in marching situation) and spare trunks to a machine gun.

[linked image]

I fixed towing cables and towing earrings on the tank case.

[linked image]
[linked image]

I established a saw.

[linked image]

I established a headlight and a sound signal. I made an electrical wiring.

[linked image]

I took the first step to painting - I grounded model.

It's a shame to have to cover up all of that fine scratch work, but I must admit it looks excellent in it's primer coat.

Colleagues, thanks for the shown interest in my work.

I began a stage of coloring of model - I put basic color and I lightened details.

Dmitry,

Your build was simply breath taking. The amount of detail you put in to a 1/48th scale kit is amazing. Its also an inspiration to try new techniques. Thank you for sharing your build. Can't wait to see the finished build.

What a fantastic model! I have a 1/100 scale (sometimes called "15mm scale") model of this vehicle coming out soon for wargamers to use in their gaming, but this one is much more detailed and impressive.
