Thanks for sending this! A stately building. Sometimes it is hard for me to reconcile a modern looking building with only horses and no electrical utilities. I know that the Colosseum was built a 1,000 years before but sometimes my mind just expects a less sophisticated building. The wonders of the mind's idiosyncrasies, huh?

You're welcome Fred. Glad you like it. It seems like there have been a lot of photos in the paper lately about the railroad. The railroad and the coal mines along with the ranching are what really got this area booming back in the day.




I feel sorry for anyone that ever tries to figure out how mine works!!!!!!


Here is a picture that I took in the past of the depot building that you can use for a comparison. I stood in almost the same spot as the photographer of the original photograph it looks like. Anyway you can really see the changes that were made to the building.
