I was very disappointed with my set considering Miniart re-tooled/ new moulds for these, the flash is just as bad as the old initial release as I have them as well.

So! A little clean up with file and blade, and some putty for the gaps. I've had resin figs that cost as much as this set with worse problems. What I especially like about these figures is that it is a gun crew NOT dressed up in every bit of issued kit. Plus, take away their ammo boxes and they could be hauling Jerry cans, etc. And you get a unique officer pointing - always need more of those!

I want this set as it looks very useful for many topics. Love the effete, imperious pose of the officer! LoL
In my experience officers wouldn't be supervising a work detail but hey...... we can dream can't we?

I suspect Miniart has an alternate kit option in their back pocket. Has anyone noticed that the figures are cunningly designed so they could be repurposed as a four-man stretcher team? Two are bearing their load on the left, two on the right.

Agree! For those that are interested, the Officer can be slightly altered/converted into another pointing SS Officer, as if we didn't have enough of those on the market already.

The guys that are holding the ammo boxes on their load-carrying side can also be depicted as newly captured POWs. Just switch out the ammo boxes, and they could be carrying personal belongings in over-stuffed duffel bags or some other suitable containers, with rucksacks on their backs. I like this set...

As to the flash, that's easily taken care of...

HA! He DOES look a bit "limp wristed" at that! Maybe a tu tu and makeup can be added to complete "the look"...

The boxart just makes you hate that Commander/NCO from the get-go. The other men's expressions indicate they hate him too!
