Thanks Mike, good to hear from you!

Just to say they had some issues receiving these images & Darren was very kind (thanks again)rushing them in. However in the process the images are in exact reverse order - there's a sort-of narrative sequence - so they hopefully should make more sense viewed backwards.

True enough, these are truly great examples of dio construction (not to mention film and videography!) Always entertained when you post something!

The combination of outside lighting and action poses really is very effective.

Aha! Now there’s order in all of that chaos!

Finally scraped my jaw off the floor, so here are a few more comments …

I really like the infantry guys running through the open field while trying to keep their heads down. The helmet between the rails is such a great little detail — can imagine it rolling and wobbling to rest. Really convincing work on the wounded and expired. And that last casualty image is so telling! Very dynamic presentation overall!

Cheers!🍺

Thanks all, glad you like ‘em.

Mike - you know what that’s what I like most about all this – I distinctly recall placing that helmet there thinking “wonder if anyone would even notice this, it’s so small it probably won’t even show up in the photos”. To use my hometown argot I’m chuffed (pron. choofed), thank you for noticing and also getting that the last image was kinda symbolic. You know I’m bolt-counting your land-barge now…btw have the Supremes gone on tour?

David - riiight, that’s one interpretation I guess…do I detect a long-time Private Eye (UK) reader there? Glenda Slag init?!!??!

Ahem … no touring just yet, they’re actually in the powder room waiting to get their makeup on.😳 Unfortunately, Makeup is out to lunch, as I’ve taken another break and enlisted myself in the current ‘Half a Year for a Half Track’ campaign. Just need to get a so-called “quick build” under my belt to fend off burnout.🔥

BTW: I’ve been lurking your ‘Mercedes Benz 170’ dio with much interest. “Oh Lord!” … How can I get anything done with all of this cool stuff going on in the forums?

Cheers!
