Some great work done while I was away. Too much to call out individually, but excellent builds one and all.

The Diana is not totally complete, I have accessories to add, but for the sake of the GB and deadline, I am calling it here.

Added Magic Sculpt covers to the headlights as the kit ones have the slit openings which are not on any photo of the Diana I have. Did this as No. 4, as everyone does 7 or 8, and I do have a photo of 4.

Thanks Gaz. Glad you like it and also that you did 'suggest' I build it. It was worth it.

Now we need to cook up a new 'campaign' based group build, as this one was so much fun to be part of.

Ken, the diorama is very cool. Interesting high point of ground, landscaping, and Italian troops. To everyone, this campaign has stayed interesting and really heated up as the end approaches.

Thank's Zon, hope I will see pictures of that GP finished. I finished mine just before I started work on Sd. Kfz. 8.
Some great looking models throughout this campaign, I have to say that I am sorry that it's coming to an and...
Gaz, you have been a great host and I am really sorry that I can't follow you to Italy. There is lot of fighting left for me in North Africa... If, by any chance, you include Tunisia in that campaign, I am all in.
Greetings to everyone

No Anzio Annie hiding in the stash, I wish, but I have a few that will fit the bill of the Italy/Sicily time frame. Will post on the thread.

Thanks for the kind words Bryan.

Ken the dio really adds to the overall impression. You did a great job on this one. I enjoyed watching this one - and the sand bags evolve

Alright everyone,
I've awarded ribbons to those that have completed so far. I think there is still 36 hours to go for any last minute crushing.

I'll be in hospital overnight having a minor surgery, so you won't hear from me until sometime tomorrow.

Until then,

Happy Building!

A bit late, but life is giving me treatment like Marine Corps style frantic recruit training. More in a gallery.

Really thought I was going to go captured German on this one. But I did not have the right markings. The British decals that came with it were horrible for the area they were to be applied to. So after the turret, I just painted the other flag on the hull.

Miss placed the machine gun. Will look for it later today.

Damian,
Fantastic job on that Valentine! Congratulations! Really like the chipping.

Kelly,
Your Honey looks great! Congrats! I like to see those ID panels on British armor, so it's a win-win.

Thank you both for participating!

It's only 1PM Thursday on Baker Island in the Pacific ocean, SW of Midway Island. So, technically there is still almost 11 hours to go.

Of course in 11 hours I'll be asleep and unable to do a 'on-time' check up. That will leave another 5-6 hours for me not to be at my PC... 'hint-hint'

Finished, with an hour left in my time zone. Can't remember if I posted any photos yet, so here is the initial pic plus some in-progress shots:

I didn't actually start until two weeks ago; I was working on five other campaigns at the same time.

AND I was finishing grad school at the same time, plus work.

And the finished kit (or as finished as it's going to get for now):

This represents one of the vehicles that sat in Benghazi waiting for spare parts, so it isn't that worn yet.

Now, to finish my Big Cat Mk V.
