As an F.Y.I. - I have found that some government publications prominently refer to this device as a "Container Handling Unit" (CHU) while others call it a "Container Handling Device" (CHD).

When doing an internet search you may want to use both descriptions to improve you search results.

Thanks Ko for your comment and your interest.

One note: As built, my CHU has the two adjustable hook arms and the movable lower hooks so the possibility of casting this as a single piece may not be an option. (Not sure)

Also Mike Goldberg is, I believe, considering making this available as a digitally printed model from Shapeways. I think that would be a very interesting product that would sell well!

I hope I have shared enough information (and inspiration) that others might chose to try their hand at building one of their own.

So I'm not sure I understand. What HEMTT did Trumpeter finally release? I frequently check their Facebook page but I don't think I saw anything.
