Good to see so many of you racing for the finish on those old workhorses. About three weeks to go!

Thanks very much Matthew. Each build I try to do something a bit different from the previous build. Small steps. I'm hustling to get this done before the deadline at the end of this month. I'm hoping to pose the turret stowage bin open and stuffed with hay along with a chicken or two, similar to the one color plate from the old Squadron Panzer IV series...Looking forward to seeing your build completed.
Cheers!

Chuck, Nice looking panzer iv F2! I like the way you've posed the vision ports open on the turret - very nice. Makes it looked lived in. I look forward to seeing the paint job!

@ Randall, Nice looking T34
I've made more progress on my 2nd build for the campaign - Tamiya's venerable Pz iv ausf D with a lot of adds and a bit of scratch. Here are some pics

Doubt I'll get this finished by the deadline, but my first build the Italeri pz iv F2 is very near completion (fateful last words)...
Cheers

A Lot of great models on going in this campaign.
Thanks for a great campaign.

Tom,
Not sure you posted these in the correct campaign. This one is about Panzer IVs, M4s, and T-34s. It's also the first post I see from you here. Should this be somewhere else?

Michael,
You are correct, the pz III belongs somewhere else.
Do I still have time to enter a 1/48 scale T-34?
Tom
If acceptable, here is my start up photo of the T-35

Let's see if I can get this done in a month:

This will be primarily OOB, as I am going to be using it as a template to finish a Bandai 1/30 kit for a friend. The Bandai is very toy-like, so I plan to make copies of whatever I see missing. If I change anything, it most likely will be the tracks, which aren't very magical. I just finished a Dicker Max, so I'm in the Pz. IV frame of mind.

I had to look at an old trophy to figure out the last time I painted a model. It was 2001! Needless to say I don't have any paint that survived. So while waiting on supplies, I decided to go with Ammo by Mig after seeing some models done with his paints, I was doing some organizing and the result, after a small plastic parts bin took a dive:

Not as bad as it might have been, but the 3D printed fuel tank mounts shattered. I will have to order another set, and maybe try casting these. With any luck, which I seem not to have, I'll get this one done!

Update on my Italeri Panzer IV Ausf. F1.
As per the color profile, I painted on the dark green camouflage stripes. I also added the decals. Love that crazy, Devil head insignia.
After mold line cleanup, I started painting the tank tools. Weathering the tank is up next, and then on to the finish.
Thanks for viewing. Good luck everyone on their perspective projects. Bill
