That's not the one I'm working. Accidentally deleted original photo from thread.

So can we expect a more accurate one in the near future?

Hobby Search Japan still has it on pre-order. They do show a pic of a built vehicle though.

As suspected, it isn't a SEAL FAV or DPV. Not sure what it is.

It's a 1980s Chenowth one although perhaps not a very popular one as it lacks "attack" in it, just fast.

One can arm it with Live-Resin swing and pole mounts, but I'd limit the machine guns to M60s era, not M240s.

I used to have an old military book with a photo in it showing a gunner firing a M60 on a short pole mount from the roof. The passenger/gunner had to get out, climb the engine plate, lean over the twin hot carburetor covers, rest his shoulder into the M60's buttstock, take aim, and fire. It was an awkward firing position and if the heat and fumes from the rising carburetors don't get him, the chances of slipping off the angled engine plate or touching hot engine metal might = YEOW!

But don't let me talk you out of buying one. You can still mount a swing arm machine gun from the passenger side, or strap on a few LAWs and M60s on bipods on the roof.

The larger Cheonowth SEAL DPV's design with the third seat for the gunner in the back remedied the deficiencies of the FAV.

Anyone know what the story is with this kit? I know Squadron had it is stock for a short while and some folk on here even managed to get one. But it is not listed on any of the Far East web shops I use and it has not even appeared on eBay yet. Most peculiar....
