I believe I’ve read somewhere selected Verlinden Items are being re-released, but can’t remember who’s doing it. I do know Sprue Brothers has cornered the Verlinden market with over 500 items in their catalog, including the 1/48 Blivet set, which is currently in stock:

I remember being on the using end of these temporary “gas stations“ more than once.

keep in mind the fact that you didn't get the pump when the blivit was dropped off in the field most of the time. Sometimes yes, but not always. Plus the fact that the pump was exactly the fastest pumping station around.
Picture it this way: Your refueling out in the middle of a field, and also in the middle of no place. Perfect sight for mortar rounds, and your on the wrong end! The chopper won't wait around for you to get the troop refueled, but will drop by to pick up the empties. Most of the time they came out slung in a net, but have seen them come out with Kevlar slings on occasion. Just depended on whether they had them back in the rear.
By the time they'd been used half dozen times, the markings would be destroyed. Worst thing was when they forgot to add the valves. Then you have to set and wait for about an hour out in the open. Water was even worse! Can't use just any valve. I was out near the border once with zero water in 115 degree heat (about this time of year). No valve and a full water blivit. Finally Top stuck his knife into it. We had water. After that episode we used nothing but 250 gallon water tank trailers!
