Indeed, where are the engine mounts?



From looking at the instructions there doesn't seem to be any engine mounts as such, the engine just seems to sit on the two front cross beams, parts A4 and A7

major components taking shape.... enjoying this even if still fiddly....

slowly making progress. think once the a-frame for the cranes is mounted on the chassis i will have to paint. as I have said. red chassis and a-frame, blue cab (interior and exterior) and truck bed. think blue cranes as well...

more progress... had to re-position the winch frame as it was not perpendicular to the frame... but slowly it is beginning to take shape

on the whole its ok.. some of the fit is by eye, no real positive fixtures (in fact one that did have was the winch frame fixer which i needed to redo... just take it slow and you will be ok (having said that, when the parts are in place they fit nicely, only a few little gaps)

took time away from AFV to do some more on this. Cab built (cab & flat-bed placed on for now)... Time to start adding the major assemblies
