Hello guys!
I've been a reader a long time around here, but this is my first post on Armorama.
War never ends diorama involves an old Italeri kit in 1:35 scale i built a long time ago (in the begining of 2000's).
This project was a first one for me in many topics: the kit was fully paint stripped, rebuilt and in the matter of my possibilities and made look a little bit better.
This is my first attempt on recreating snow, mud and also figure painting.
The pine tree is also a *first one*.
I realy hope you enjoy my work.

Nice job.
Pine tree looks great and the snowman is a nice touch.

Great little vignette. Nice composition and detail. I like the German helmet on the "surrendering" snowman.

If you are not opposed, perhaps a light dusting of snow in the pine tree to complete the scene.

Nice work,
Jim

Very well done! The snowman was a neat idea and it really steals the scene. But I have to agree that a bit of snow on the tree would make it perfect. Thanks for sharing!

Alexei,

Outstanding work! The composition looks great and the scene is not cluttered. The colors are authentic. Your weathering of the SP 75mm is excellent. That tree is excellent, too. I love air fern trees.

I hope you post more dioramas because your modeling is wonderful.

Thank you again for your kind comments, this helps a lot for the future projects and encourages me!

I was at the point of adding snow on the pine tree but didn't do it because i thought of an early spring, and was afraid of over doing it.

Its a very nice project. I agree on the snow, I would add just a little like you did with the vehicle.

I would also weather the brass rounds a little as it would appear its been some time since the rounds where last fired.

Could you provide photos about the weathered rounds?
I would be very thankful.

Same thought on the brass rounds.

Google "Spent brass casings" for images.

Google fired 75mm anti tank brass rounds will get you some images. I don't have anything for the second part of how actual weather it.

For an older model like this it does look so great with this weathering. Also with the "surrending snowman" with its arms up and two guns facing it down does add a little comical relief.

Alexei – a little gem, a perfect example of telling two stories instead of just one - brilliant
