I have the Asuka M4a1 and want to replace the track with a better track. Which of the aftermarket track would be a best choice? I see AFV club, Friule, Master club, Bronco, and Model Kasten are the track offerings that I am aware of but I haven't seen their track to make an informed choice.

I just received a set of Masterclub T48 links and to be honest they are the easiest and nicest indy Sherman tracks I've tackled to date. AFV club is fiddly and tonnes of work, same as Model Kasten. Fruil tracks imho are impossible to get tight enough to resemble live tracks. As for Bronco I have not used their tracks but they look well detailed but overly complicated to build.

Thanks for the advice. Friule is my go-to for sagging track but not for live track.

Did you see this one?

He used the Masterclub tracks.

Panda Plastic tracks are decent, cost less, but are also fiddly.

My preferred option is RHPS/Panda Plastics (same moulds). One-piece link with separate end connectors, which assemble without cement so can be adjusted once fitted.

I’ve also built some Bronco T48 track. Surprisingly cheap but more parts (three-part link, separate end connectors). Can be made workable if you are careful with the cement. Terry Ashley’s method (on PMMS) is better than Bronco’s suggested assembly sequence in my view. Basically, you add the end connectors to the linking bars and, when dry, add the track pad halves.

MK are v fiddly but do look great. I’ve steered clear of any types where the end connectors are cast with the links because it is hard to get them spanning the angle correctly on curves.
