Hello,

I’m looking for a good alternative for Model Master 1706-Tan.
This is the correct match for modern US vehicles in desert tan but it is no longer available in Europe.
Anyone any suggestions ?

Bonjour Frenchy,

Thanks for your answer, i tried several options. Painting them side by side and the best option is either Tamiya XF-59 or Humbrol 121.
Humbrol 63 appears to be too dark.
Haven’t decided yet which one to go for !
Keep safe,

Hi Pawel,

Sorry for not answering rightaway.
Now I’m using ModelMaster 4720 (acrylic) and it is the same as ModelMaster 1706-enamel.
Also Humbrol 121 seems to be a good replament.
