Are the 1/35th figures legit troops or private military contractors? The press release on other web sites suggest they're supposed to represent contractors.


Are you thinking of ‘Danger Close”. Special Operations Team, Present Day"
Kit No #35207’? Which would work as SF, too, with maybe a little more comms gear.

I hadn’t noticed before, but the guy who’s arm is being bandaged, his boot heel has come away; I wonder whether that’s in the kit. And, there is a fifth guy under the arch.

Neither is shown in the CAD's, and Masterbox has a continuing reputation of the figures NOT conforming exactly to the box art.

You can go cheaper and buy Trumpeter 1/35 guns. I find the Trumpeter M4 RIS guns just as decent as the Live-Resin ones and probably a bit more robust.

The male soldier is wearing a wrist GPS/map electronic device.


I'll have to put them side by side, but there is a NOTICABLE size difference with the Trumpy M4's and accessories and the Live Resin ones. The pistols are worse.

Tut mir Leid, hab's nicht gesehen...

Could be a PLB or a Shout Nano. Neither can be worn on the wrist but can fit in a small pouch or zipped up pocket. Could also be an EUDs which was a Samsung phone that attached to your kit in an easily accessible case. (appears too thick for that, although it can be worn on this wrist) Big Army units have not been authorized to use personal GPS equipment for over a year now, giving more likelihood that dude represents a meat eater. Plus there's the out of reg 'stache and the unbloused boots. Enough to send most regular Army Sergeants Major into a conniption fit. They're not big into the tucking in of the blouse either. Learned that annoying trick in SFAUC.

These could also be used as U.S. S.W.A.T. police if their uniforms were colored dark blue, green, or black. S.W.A.T. now look very similar to modern special forces.

I know that ICM makes 1/24 modern U.S. S.W.A.T., so these two could team up with them as well.
