Hello, I recently painted my Merkava 1 using AK Real Color Sand Grey 70's-80's RC095

It is a very dark tan when dry...is this the right color....I have read on this forum about how different this color looks in real life.....but most models and pictures I see have a "true" gray/bluish tone to them. Is AK Real Colors wrong?

Thank you,
Eric

That is a very specific question about a single color I. An entire line of paints. It may be that nobody has attempted to use that paint for a similar scheme, or that they too are unsure of the color. These paints are relatively new in the market, so there may not be the experience base available as there would be for more long standing brands such as Tamiya, Model Master, or Vallejo.

I don’t generally built modern armor and I have not used AK Real Color paints, so I can’t provide the information you need, Maybe you could post requesting a good match paint recommendation from a more more common brand and compare that to what you have. It wouldn’t be a guarantee of accuracy, but it might help you determine if the AK color is in bathe ball park.

Good luck
