I think there was someone on this site trying to organise a coronavirus build campaign...not sure how they're getting on with that?

Ah yes, the old ESCI Panther from their good old days! Nice to see one of these ESCI originals brought to life again. COVID-19 has affected our area recently so I too will likely be resurrecting something from the earlier times to build. I'll be watching with keen interest.

Althou Im not a Panther expert, I think You will find more Panther G mid productions with schurzen with Zimmerit than without. Maybe the Grossdeutschland division in late 1944 had some without Zimmerit ?

I finally came to the end
I got a bit bummed out, but I had to try out new colours and new techniques.
All in all a satisfactory result... or not?

This Panther is an "A", not "G". All Panther As had zimmerit.

I found a similar treasure in my stash . . . the old Esci Panzer II. I hope to do it the same justice that you accomplished!

Not quite all As has Zimmerit. ‘Elna’ of I./PR.6 is an obvious exception. No doubt there were a few others from the start of the production run too.

By the way Giorgio, the two outer pipes either side of the left exhaust pipe were inlets for cooling air, so would not rust like the exhausts.
