My 11 year old son just commented that the PL-01 looks as if Tesla had continued the CyberTruck design concept into design of tanks.

I'm glad that you like my work, see guys this is why I do this. I like to hear from you , whether you like it or think I screwed up.
Regards.
Donald

Ps. I have the Takom M9 ACE coming up after this one is finished. That is if I don't mess it up. It is really nice.

I had been thinking about this kit so I appreciate the build. Wish I built as fast as you do. Look forward to the Ace as I have that kit as well.

Although I have yet to build any of the kits that you review, it's great to have someone explain and clearly illustrate unexpected pitfalls to the kits. It also helps me gauge a manufacturer's kit quality before making a purchase.

Thank you very much!!!

The fit of the Mg. cannon for the top of the turret was very challenging (didn't fit good)

I think these are either grenade, or smoke launchers I don't know.

Some kind of sight for the commander ?

Finished for now.

#46 I would say that these are part of an active protection system. On photos of the real thing there is a triangular laser warning sticker on the rounded central part.

Smoke dischargers are hidden in the holes on the rear quarters of the turret. The mounting positions indicate surveillance arcs to each side, 180 degrees, maybe more.

Thanks Donald for sharing with us your fun build. After seeing this odd/futuristic looking tank I can't get over how clean & uncluttered it looks. Happy building on your M9 ACE !
