Paul,

Are you aware of these (not NI specific)?

Brian

Well I don't know about Paul, but as my middle name is Paul I feel qualified to answer! I wasn't aware of these, so thanks for making me aware! Now I want some. Darn it if they aren't sold out everywhere - and not even on ebay!

If anyone knows who has them please share :-)

(That's Call to Arms 1/72 British Infantry 1970's if you don't want to hit the link.)

I have a set knocking about somewhere. However postage to USA may be prohibitive!

The fact that these figures are in such short supply seems very odd (to me anyway because I'm interested in this kind of thing!). I have used World War II British soldiers in shirtsleeve order with hornet 1944 pattern helmet heads. This gives you the look of what soldiers looked like when first deployed on Northern Ireland's streets in 1969. Any World War II British paratrooper figures will work for paras in Northern Ireland in the 1970s- just swap the 303 rifles for SLRs.

I've got 3 sets of Italeri Light Weapons I bought just for the MILAN. I can spare some of the SLRs.
