Vinnie you did a real good job, plus it's one of my favorite softskins. I have several in my stash. I have completed the radio version with some help from Verliden.

Great, really superb. Vinnie I have only one question, i found some troubles when using Part PEs because of this brown coloured kind of film that all the PE from Part has.... How u could managed with that? Any product that i can use to clean the PEs before Gluing, soldering and painting? Many thanks Javier

Nice one Vinnie. The modern updates ... the jerry can, the clamps and the dashboard have lifted this kit up considerably. The etched grills donīt hurt either. Should fill out any diorama nicely.

Thanks guys! Frank, I know what you mean about the dash etc., but this Part set includes every door on the vehicle as PE, that's the 4 side doors and the two rear ones. They're built up from multiple layers, as sort of laminations. It's an amazing PE set, which I'd recommend to anybody getting this vehicle and looking for a PE set. It's in a very small packet, which is misleading, 'cos it is very extensive. Javier, I didn't remove the coating, it actually helps if you're going to use super glue. For soldering just glide some very fine emery paper over it, and this will remove the coating. Vinnie

Hello Vinnie, Wonderful work on the Steyr! I like the approach to the interior, a little busy but not crowded. It really stands out. One question though, what color did you paint the undercarriage/running gear. Reason I ask is I have one to build and I am a little confused between the instructions and the few references I have. Some say overall Panzergrau, while I believe (just don't have the instructions right here) that Tamiya has a callout for different colors. Any help you could lend would be great! Love seeing your work. Best Wishes, Walter

Thanks Walter, with regards to the underneath of the vehicle, I pre-shaded the entire vehicle with grey/black, so thsi was left as this when painting the other surfaces, but given a light coat of earth when weathering, which would have covered any other colours used anyway. Vinnie

Beautiful work Vinnie. A truly wonderful monochromatic finish with the just the right weathering. I'm curious about the lack of markings. Will we see more of the diorama in the near future? Patrick
