About Ragip Oy (zwan)

Born in 1963,married and living in Istanbul with my wife and 2 kids. I started to model with wooden ships in my teens. Then lack of space at home changed my route to aircraft and afv. My last stop is figures. I am painting figures and busts since 2003.

Hi Ragip, Nice work on the figure! I love the way the bright colours contrast with the stark white. Thanks for publishing, Engin. Rudi p.s. for those interested in reading more about this figure, Costas' review of the figure can be found here

Hello Ragip: I enjoyed looking at those very nice pictures of your Japanese Warrior Monk, 1180. As M.E. Rudi sez, very colorful and a subject matter/genré that we see rarely on HF. And to me, of note particularly, is the close up pix of the face. Really well done eyes, flesh tones. Also, I think your "vegetation"(?) looks very realistic, . . . to get those tiny clumps of "thread" like pieces arranged well, is a chore! Another aspect of a base that isn't easy to pull off. Congratulations.
