Luc used the Tamiya T-55 as a base and added the T-54 conversion from EAF design,T-55 aluminium barel from RB,T-55 piping and fuel cells from Legend production, photoetched T-55 basic set and stowage bins from Voyager, another basic set from Eduard and metal tracks from Friulmodel. The figures are from Toromodel (modified).Luc painted it with acrylics and weathered with AK product and pigments.

Excellent Build Luc!! I especially like the photo for reference added, you captured it very nicely. The detail and weather is really good!

I totally agree with the comments above. Very convincing. One remark to the base: you created track marks longer that the position of the tank. Might have been a bit more realistic if the tank would have stood at the end of the tracks. The life vests are a cool idea and the painting of the faces is awesome. Great capture of skincolour. Excellent Model!

I meant why the jackets? They're in a tank, not in a boat- they would probably not get too close to deep water.

Excellent build and finish. It is nice to see a t-54 and the crew in lifejackets adds a nice splash of color.
