JGSDF Type 10

This project was inspired by the popular anime series "Girls und Panzer". I thought it was a fantasy of Japanese authors, but suddenly Tamiya released scale copy of this tank. The Type 10 is a 4th generation main battle tank of JGSDF produced by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries for the Japanese Ground Self Defense Force. Aftermarket goodies include a set of Def Model PE, workable tracks from Orochi (PF-001), an antenna and glass headlights from Adlers Nest (35031), Voyager PE35598, Def Model 35033 aluminum barrel, and two sets of brackets for attaching camouflage, from the Adlers Nest (each measuring 2 mm), more than 200 pieces in total. The completed model was painted using the Mr.Color JGSDF Vehicle color set CS661. Weathering used the following: AK-076 Filter for NATO Tanks, AK 075 Wash for NATO tanks, Mig Pigments - P028 Europe Dust, Mig Pigments - P026 Concrete, and AK4062 Light dust deposit.
