Blast Models have announced two new update sets for products for new kits from two new manufacturers. The two new manufacturers are Panda and Meng, and so it is not a stretch to work out what kits Blast Models has releases for. Take a look inside for more details.
Here are the two new releases from Blast Models and I for one would not want to be in the pickup when that was let off.
BL35177K - PICK-UP 4X4 TECHNICAL WITH UB-32 ROCKET LAUNCHER - $16.74

BL35176K - US M-ATV CROWS II RWS - CONVERSION PANDA - $20.92

Great News! I wondered how long it would take for someone to do the UB launcher for the technicals.... Now we just need the BMP turreted one The Crows looks nice as well. chris

I'll get both updates for sure, but if they were to do the BMP turret. it would probably cost more than tuning up an old BMP kit. LINK

Some "Freedom Fighter" figures to go with the Technicals would be nice! Do any of those technicals mount a bumper brushguard?

Maybe not a true technical, but the M151 does.

Awesome addition nonetheless! How effective is the UB-32 anyway compared to the ZPU-1? Obviously the UB is an "area" target, but could the ZPU depress far enough for ground targets? Or are these just arching weapons like mortars? I take it both MENG Technicals are "weapons specific" to Libya? To make other African Technicals, what is needed? Recoiless Rifles or twin ZSU barrels? I'm also wondering about the "fun factor" of the MENG pickups. Sure, some modelers buy both Rebel and SOF versions. If one had to chose only one, which one would be best? Both could be supported with AM figures, gear, and PE.

The only difference between the two is one gives you a ZPU-1 and a rebel fighter and the other gives equipment and a SF/PMC figure. One is molded in white and the other is in Red.
