Inside the Armour has released two new offerings for the 1/35th scale Churchill tank offerings. These new items consist of a new rear bin and Churchill Mk III (Dieppe) with blown waterproofing. Also released is a set of generic tarps and rolls for use on any model.
Inside the Armour has a thing for the Churchill tank offering a host of upgrades for the AFV Club offerings and a book as well. One of the latest items is an interesting choice and that is the Churchill Mk III (Dieppe) with blown waterproofing, yes the appeal is limited in terms of what it can be used on but it will add an interesting finish to your model. The new storage bin should make for an eye catching addition to a number of builds.

I love Chris's stuff. This may indeed be limiting in that it puts the tank close to the beach. As in combat, wreckage and German capture, post battle when they were looking at the Churchill wondering what the heck it could be used for as a captured vehicle. The Churchill did some amazing things other armor could not quite do, as in climbing insane slopes up hills to bring armor to bear where there was none. But the Dieppe beach was a killer, lots of well sighted antitank guns and a beach that would hardly let any armor off it.

Useful stuff. There was a really interesting programme on the TV recently about the Dieppe raid concerning Naval Intelligence, Ian Fleming (aka James Bond) and the plan to capture enigma material, by a mysterious 30 Commando. It put a whole new side to the story and why the raid may have been mounted. Al
