Legend Productions has announced their latest releases in 1/35th scale. The big news is a new willy’s Jeep and Leopard conversion.
Leopard 1A5NO Conversion set - 18 Resin/158 PE parts - Recommended kits *. Meng’s Leopard 1A5(TS-015) *. Leopard Club’s Decal. The Leopard tank has to be one of the most appealing modern armoured vehicles at the present time and it is good to see another option hitting the market at an affordable price.

Willy’s Ambulance Conversion set - 40 Resin/57 PE parts - Including Decal - for any 1/35 Willy’s MB kit. The Jeep is another of those vehicles that appeals to the modeller due to its widespread use and various uses by many armies around the world. I am very pleased to see an ambulance conversion here, but I would have liked to see a wounded soldier on a stretcher provided with this offering.

WWII C Ration Box set (Early) - WWII early Type - Including Decal – 8 each. These resin offerings from Legend Productions have impressed me greatly having seen the various ammunition boxes painted and decals applied.

LF1316 Leopard 1A5NO Conversion set
LF1315 Willy’s Ambulance Conversion set
LF1314 WWII C Ration Box set (Late/8ea)

Nice! Now if they follow on with a Leopard 1A5NO2 I will be in heaven :-) The jeep set looks sweet too.

Hello Sven. This is a 1A5NO2 (although this is a very unofficial designation) which has the add-on armour. 1A5NO has no add-on armour as they were converted from ordinary Leo 1s. Late in life, some had extended baskets. Is this what you are thinking of?

Decals are available for this kit from Leopard Workshop LINK

Thanks Mike. Then I am happy .. well 99% happy anyway :-) I would love to see a conversion with the extended turret basket as well (you are right, I had incorrectly mistaken that for the NO2 variant), but perhaps not too difficult to scratchbuild with measurements and drawings at hand? Great to see that decals are available as well.

The Jeep ambulance conversion is interesting. I have never seen that version before. Does anyone have any info on it or who used it, when, etc..?

Looks like an improvised conversion to....It reminds me of this other one : Camp Carson, CO, 24 April 1943 : I've yet to see a period picture of the Legend one... H.P.

Very interesting set for the Jeep. Got to get me one. In the book The US Army Jeep at War by Steven Zaloga on page 23 there are a couple pic's showing a jeep with that set up, caption for photo says 101st Airborn. As long as we are talking medical jeep's a conversion kit for a Marine Corp Holden jeep would be interesting.
