Ammo is preparing a huge Encyclopedia of Armour Modelling. Split in 5 (or 6) volumes, it will cover all areas of armour modelling, from building to weathering.
It will be released over the next year and is already available for preorder.. According to their site, these are the features of this new publication:
The definitive encyclopedia of model Armour Fighting Vehicles performed by Mig Jimenez, author of Best Sellers in Model history FAQ 1 and 2, and a selection of the best worldwide aircraft modellers, led by Mig Jimenez.

Through more than 750 pages and 4,500 high quality and full colour photos, modellers can learn everything needed to make tanks, from the simplest processes for the new modeller to advanced techniques for the advanced modeller.

The processes explained in this encyclopedia are composed of highly informative texts and numerous pictures explaining in great detail every step. This encyclopedia is the ultimate tool that should be on the table of every armour fighting vehicle modelling fan. The amount and great detail of detailed processes makes this work so extensive that is has been divided into 5 volumes to make it more manageable on any desk.

This encyclopedia consists of 5 volumes:

Volume 1: Construction (124 pages, € 25, estimated date of delivery January 2016)
Volume 2: Interiors and Base Colour (160 pages, € 31, Coming Soon)
Volume 3: Camouflage (160 pages, € 31, Coming Soon)
Volume 4: Weathering (160 pages, € 31, Coming Soon)
Volume 5: Final Touches (160 pages, € 31, Coming Soon)

You know, there are so many products to be promoted...

You could easily get a volume 1A out of the various techniques for scratchbuilding parts, and a volume 1B for kitbashing, and probably get a volume 1C out of the various techniques for the use of photoetched parts. But Mig's got all those paint products to push, so...

If it is like his previous books, it may be either written in poor English or is a blatant, very expensive catalog for his products. And I am not going to pre-order a series of books that have not been written

What Matt said. Good techniques are always interesting to me. I just got the TankArt Series from Rinaldi Studios, but haven't had the time to read through it yet. The shipping is going to be a turn-off for most of us. Mig needs to build his US network a bit more IMO.

Considering Mig is not a native English speaker, you'd be happy to get something in "poor" English. I'm sure you're mastering Spanish yourselves!

I agree on the comment about English not being good enough in Mig's books. With so many native Enlish speakers around, I would expect someone would proofread the English text before publishing the book. I have both FAQ and FAQ2, and although the books are great, there are several things in them I could not understand at all due to the poor English. For such "modeling Bibles" I would expect nothing but maximum effort even in the translation of the text. The fact we are not mastering Spanish is completely irrelevant. If I was to publish a book in any language other than my native tongue, I would most certainly find someone to proofread the text. For me it would be common sense, no? Mario

Honestly I do not see any reason to complain about the book using his own products. MIG (and his team) own/work for a modelling company and are not independent modellers, so it is completely logical that they use the products they sell. I would not expect them to promote competitors' stuff. Moreover, those are the products they use to get such results. If you can get the same finishes with other products, good for you! As for English text, FAQ 1 was published almost 10 years ago... from what I have read here on reviews from his latest products, only minor spelling mistakes were reported in one case so it seems they have improved.

A run through by an English speaking proof reader would have eliminated any problems. Check out his book on wood effects to see what I mean!

The Wood Effects book is by AK Interactive and I'm pretty sure it was done after he left AK. I was able to accomplish this level of finish and weathering by following a Mig article, I'm pretty proud of it and was astonished how simple and easy it was to do: Shameless plug, but we carry the full range of AMMO stuff. $8.95 flat rate US shipping ($3.95 if it's small enough) with free US shipping on orders over $200. http://www.megahobby.com/search.aspx?manufacturer=803
