Djiti has sent Armorama news of a couple of a few new figures coming our way in 1/35th scale. The two offerings are a female Italian soldier with a child and a modern German tank crew.
The Italian female soldier is a great looking figure, it is great to see a female soldier looking like a woman you would see on the street rather than in a modelling agency. I really do rate this figure very highly. The addition of the child is just icing on the cake of a figure set that will I believe prove popular.

The Modern German tank crew, which feature 1 full, 1 three quarter and 1 half figure should prove to be another popular offering as modern crews are not easy to come by. I will say the arm angle looks odd on one of the figures, but it is hard to be sure.

When I used the word Bellissima, I meant it is nice to see a female who is miss average rather than a model.

Gents, this is a pretty sexist discussion, and I suspect few of you are catches, so let's focus on the modeling aspects and not the Playmate ones.

Fair enough, Bill.

Well, then I would say that some of the figures are "anatomically suspect". Particularly the right arm of the tank commander and left arm of the Italian lady. Also her feet and right hand seem out of proportion to the rest of the body... I wonder how difficult would it be to ask someone to take the desired pose and take a lot of photos from all angles and then use those photos as references to properly sculpt a figure?...

Her hands do look rather over-size, even if you were to change the head to a male one. (And I won't start any she-male comments this time)
