Mirage Hobby continues extending their range of Model Set kits. Three new vehicles are already available.
Including glue, paintbrush and paints, there are three small but interesting vehicles from WWII:
  • Ref 835096, Armoured Car Model 1934/II. A Polish Armoured derived from the wz28 half track that saw service against the German Army during the invasion of Poland
  • Ref 835095 Renault UE Reconnaissance Tankette, the famous French Scout Carrier that was used also to tow guns or, as shown here, small trailers
  • Ref 835097 UE(f)-sWG, 40/28cm Wk Spr self-propelled rocket launcher, the conversion made by the German Army on captured French vehicles to carry four box rocket launchers.

The Renault UE was not a reconnaissance vehicle or scout carrier. It was a resupply or AT gun tractor. The French had other vehicles for the reconnaissance role.

Does anyone know if these are actually "new" models, or are they just reboxes of previously released stuff with the extras thrown in?

re-boxes I strongly suspect

I think the armoured car might be new, the UE's could be older since there have UE's from Mirage before (35305 & 35307, 35216 was the trailer) There used to be a wz 34 from Encore, brrrrr.... Certi, Toga and maybe some other brand names ... I hope it is a new moulding / Robin It is probably the old kit ... LINK Mirage released it in 2012 but it first turned up in the late 19-eighties (previous century), getting close to 30 years old ...
