“Everything you need for an accurate model in one box” boasts MiniArt of its latest kit-in-progress. Here we take a look at sprue images and other details that they have shared.
The SU-122 (Samokhodnaya Ustanovka 122) was a Soviet self-propelled howitzer employed during the Second World War. The "122" designation stands for the 122 mm M-30S howitzer, its main armament. It is based on the T-34 chassis, and was deployed to support infantry, destroy fortifications, guns emplacements, and in some occasions against tanks.

MiniArt’s SU-122 Mid Production (35197) is a highly detailed model that features the following:

  • Up-to-date technology using slide moulds
  • Total parts count of 921 consisting of plastic (822), photo-etched (95), and clear (4) components
  • Decal sheet for 3 options
  • Full-color instruction
  • Fully detailed engine compartment and chassis
  • Interior is accurately represented
  • Workable track link (two types tracks)

Looks like a nice upgrade from the long-of-tooth Tamiya kit I have floating around here somewhere...especially excited by the inclusion of a comprehensive interior!
