For those who may have been waiting since it was announced last year, Fine Molds has now advised that it is scheduled for release this February.
The Type 95 was a Japanese scout car built by Tokyu Kurogane Industries, and was used during the war with China and the Second World War. It is said to be the world's first mass-produced 4-wheel drive vehicle, pre-dating that of other vehicles of similar function such as the Willys MB “Jeep”, and the Kubelwagen. With a production run from 1936 to 1944, around 4,700 units are estimated to have been built.

Fine Molds’ IJA Type 95 Scout Car Kurogane 4x4 (FM 50) kit boasts of completely new molds. It contains 104 parts plus a decal sheet with 4 marking options. Also included is a figure to complete the kit offering.

Background information on the vehicle was sourced from Wikipedia.

Pavka: The earlier Pit Road Type 95 kit came with a driver and passenger with an MG mounted through the passenger side window....

Thanks Recon, Yes I know, I meant that as I am a figure sculptor under a trademark D-Day Miniature Studio, I want to release Kurogane crew. Cheers Pawka

Looks like a nice kit with some good detail. With this and the new Type 97 with interior, FineMolds is jumping off to a good start on the year.

It looks a bit clunky, but who can complain about having more IJA stuff?

Gotta love that almost cartoonish shape of the goofy Kurogane!

Seems to be nice but i cant see where the over 100 parts gonna be used. It looks not more detailed then the kit from Pit Road.
