Giang Xuan Le kindly informed us about the new figures of the 101st Airborne series.
Second squad consists of four figures in 1/35 scale, cast in resin.
  • WW35-007 Private Hawk - .30 caliber Machine Gunner

  • WW35-008 T-4 Eugene - Doc

  • WW35-009 Private Miller - Second Rifleman

  • WW35-010 Major Dick - Reading Map

    Could be any paratrooper as far as I can see. I see no resemblance with the BoB-caracters

    I don't see physical resemblance either but the names of the figures are BoB names (granted, they were also real 101st Easy Company guys) T-4 Eugene "Doc" Roe Maj. Dick Winters Pvt. James Miller Not sure though on the Pvt. Hawk one

    Why do figure sculptors always want to put the first aid kit on the helmet netting? It's actually quite rare from the photos I have looked at. I know it's supposed to say "AIRBORNE!!!" but I usually don't put them on or have to come up with alternate helmets without the kit.

But really putting Major "dick" as the name of a figure?
