Ace Model shifts gears on subjects, this time releasing an automobile kit in service with the Wehrmacht.
The Olympia was a compact car produced by the German automaker Opel from 1935 to 1940, and also for certain periods during the early 50’s and late 60’s. It was named as such in anticipation of the 1936 Berlin Olympics, and regarded as the Germany’s first mass-produced with an all-steel monocoque body. More than 168,000 units were built between 1935 and 1940.

Ace Model’s Olympia m.1938 Cabriolet (72507) is an injection molded kit in 1/72 scale. From the sprue shots, the kit may be built either with or without its canvas roof. A decal sheet provides options to finish it as a medical vehicle or as a staff car.

Background information on the vehicle sourced from Wikipedia.

Pleased to see a good kit of this vehicle. And a convertible-top at that.
