Now also Hobby Boss joins the party and is working on a 1/35 Panther.
Announced as 2 in 1, with both early and late types of cupolas. The rest of the hull looks the same but it is too early to judge, as only this image is known.

We like to have a choice of kits. It is our human right to have a choice. This tank was built under the control of a man who rather liked denying people their rights, and look where it got him. If you are not interested in a subject, don't comment on it saying everyone who has taken interest in it has a fetish for it. Now be grateful that you have the right to have a device to use, and a home to use it in. Good night.

Why do you people insist on commenting on stuff you don't even care about? Makes it seem like you have nothing else going on in your empty little lives. My god, there are more Sherman kits on the market than there are Tiger kits, let alone Panthers. Go bother those people. We get it, you don't like them. Go read threads on kits you DO like.

The reason there are so many Shermans out there is because there are soooo many colour options!: You can choose OD, Sand, sand with brown or black, O.D., whitewash, O.D., O D. and probably O.D.

It's actually due to the fact that there was quite a bit of variation between versions, more so than with many German tanks. Or so some Sherman buffs have told me.

Perhaps both camps may get along when Cyberhobby releases the L/71 -armed Sherman turret on a hybrid initial/late Tiger I. No word on if it will have DS tracks.

And you can have a Tiger in any color you like so long as it's sand, brown, grey or combinations of those three. Same limitation of color palette except it's yellow sand versus brown olive drab. Unless it's in Africa where that brown color is very near brown olive drab matching the uniform of the G.I. next to it in those Life color photos. And Sherman's are far more likely to have nose art and funny names as opposed to just crosses and numbers and numbers and crosses and the occasional little coat of arms.

Yep. You are right, I had no time to double check and put 12 instead of 16. The rest of my post remains correct, though.

Is it only me having problems? When I look at the Main page of the Forums I see that the latest post in some forum is a News item but when I open that forum the News item is nowhere to be seen. This item was visible in the Armour/AFV forum earlier but now it has disappeared. The Katiyusha and the M911 engine from Meng only showed up on the Main page but I was unable to find them in the forums (Russo/Soviet and Armour/AFV respectively). Has something been changed or am I the only one having problems? The editing facilities when commenting directly under the News item are severely limited and I consider this to be a p in the a. / Robin Edit: It wasn't only me. See this post in Network Talk: LINK
