Amusing Hobby has taken a break from Paper Panzers, and has decided to instead offer a new take on the Tiger(P)
The kit will feature movable running gear with innovative functional suspension, workable single track links and photo etch parts.

And as a bonus, a resin figure is included,..which while not stated as such, looks to be one of Mr Porsche himself, designer of the Tiger(P).

And the Tigers keep on coming.I am never one to knock a new release no matter how many Tigers,Panthers,Shermans we get.

Yeah, exactly; someone will be happy with this, and it's not a zero-sum game, anyhow. Why complain?

It's the prototype with the original engine deck and turret. Only Italeri did this version. Dragon was the modified one used as a command vehicle. Platz did conversion bits for the Dragon kit in their Girls und Panzer line but it's still not the right configuration. So it actually fills a hole and there is no kit except an ancient "meh" kit.

So, how is this release different or so much better than those already on the rather saturated market? I've already built the old Italeri kit and both Dragon releases so what compels me to buy this one? The inclusion of Doktor Porsche is a fitting touch.

Okay, so I neglected to look at the last entry before sticking my foot in my mouth... well thanks for letting me know how this kit was an improvement.

I think I will be getting this, I have the Italeri, and the Dragon kits, but I was going to get some aftermarket tracks to complete the project. AH's tracks have been very nice so that will make it worth it if the kit is more accurate and I don't have to hammer the other 2 into something comparable.

I, for one, don't have a Tiger(P) in my stash yet. I will probably put this one on my "need to order list". So, I'm happy with this release.

I'm currently building the kit. So far it is extremely well done. It definitely represents the prototype from the second production batch of five with turret No.7.
