The second subject of Trumpeter’s October release feature this German prime mover used throughout WWII.
Sd.Kfz.8 (DB9) Half-Track Artillery Tractor (09538). The kit contains more than 700 parts spread over 26 sprues. Additional features include individual track links, rubber tires, metal chain, and photo-etched parts.

A decal sheet for the instrument panel as well as license plates to finish a vehicle in either Luftwaffe or Wehrmacht service is provided.

As built the model is 211.5mm long and 47.8mm wide.

why is the SdKfz 8 in 1/35 scale. When is there going to be thiis same vehicle in 1/72 scale ??

Actually, this is important because Trumpy released a "late" version that is mainly for hauling, and the "bunker buster" mounting an 88. These vehicles were important towing workhorses for German heavy artillery, and I'm for one glad to see it now in styrene.
