Tiger Model Designs is a company known principally for it's resin accessory setsfor the German armor modeller. However, with these news releases, they are now producing several sets for the Allied Armor modeller - particularly for the Sherman....

Once again, I have to thank P.M.M.S for pointing me in an interesting direction....
There are quite a number of new releases from TIGER, beginning with the German releases, they are:

352118 Tiger I Initial Cupola w/Interior Detail (Tamiya/Academy)

It includes improved weld beads, drain holes in the TC's cupola, as well as a sighting vane, and the 8 external screws for the internal travel lock. Also included are clear vision blocks and headpads...

352120 Tiger I Early Cupola w/Interior Detail (Tamiya/Academy)

Very similar to TMD 352118, this is the second release in the series of Tiger I cupolas.

Also released, is:

TMD 35004 German Kulblewagen Driver in Winter Dress

This figure is a WW II German Kublewagen Driver in Winter Dress. This figure was specifically sculpted to fit the NEW Tamiya kublewagens

Starting with the Sherman releases:

TMD 353016 DML M4 Sherman Hull Hatch Set

This set is intended for use with the DML M4 kits. The set is designed so you have several options: you can build the hatches open or closed, and with the periscopes installed or removed.

TMD 353017 M4 Sherman Early Split-Hatch TC's Cupola for DML / Tamiya

This set contains everything needed to build a highly detailed and accurate early split-hatch cupola for your Sherman model. The hatch locking mechanism is complete with catch and adjusting lock bolt.

353018 M4 Sherman M6 Periscopes and Mounts (All M4s)

This set contains 6 sprues, with each sprue consisting of everything you need to add one M6 periscope and/or mount to any U.S. AFV. It allows for several options, including: installed or removed periscopes, 2 options for the external vision block covers, external vision block guards and a separate, un-mounted M6 periscope.

In conclusion, an extremely interesting list of new releases. To 'whet' the appetite even further, TIGER have announced that their future releases will include:

Matilda Mk II (complete kit)
Marder III M driver's compartment
Bergepanther conversion (based on DML D/A kits)
F3 “Late” Famo update set
Middy and Final Tiger I cupola with internal details
Late Pzr IV G – Early Pzr IV J cupola with internal detail

Also announced by TIGER is the imminent arrival of the first of their M3 and M3A1 CORRECTED upper & lower hulls (for the Dragon kits...)
