Bastion 35 are pleased to announce their latest Building kit in 1/35th scale.
The New model is a FULL-kit of a typical Log-Built Russian hut in 1/35th scale.present "full version" of russian hut.

As usual, with the company's products, the kit is manufactured with laser-cut wooden parts.

This house looks very nice, but I miss one important thing. How to cook and heat in this house without a chimney? Does this type of houses have an "exterior" version of it? (metallic tube) greetings... Soeren

Yes, you are right. There is not chimney in this house. It may be done indenpendetly. We could make chimney, but it would have been wooden too, as a hut. Regards, Bastion 35

No chimney could ever be just wood. I suspect were similar the world over. In the early US, such places had mud covered sticks as a chimney, built to be toppled in case of a chimney fire.

It's certainly not a big deal to simply drill a suitable sized hole through the roof and insert a length of tubing or pipe. Various manufacturers make usable wood stoves in plastic or resin to connect your chimney pipe to.
