Review

The poster items covered in this review are supplied in a re-sealable plastic bag. Also in the bag is a thin card stiffener. The bag is further sealed with a thin folded piece of card that is stapled in place. The paper on which the posters are printed has taken the printing very well, there is no bleeding on the colour that I could detect, the paper is thin and so should be easy to place within your diorama and conform to most surfaces and shapes, the paper used is also thick enough that no bleeding of the colour has occurred on the back of the paper.

One thing I especially like about the packaging of these products is the re-sealing ability of it, by providing this the unused posters can be kept together and protected from contamination while being stored until required again. I would however have liked to see a stronger material used in the packaging to prevent bending and creases occurring. The quality of the printing is very high, having very clear definition despite the complexity and small size of some of the images, the Soviet Union Propaganda Posters 1942 No 1 are especially good examples of the print quality.

The Street with Parking Lines in 1/72nd scale is the only item that does not appeal to me. There is no packaging with this item, I assume because it is printed on reasonably stiff white card. The printing quality is again very good and requires only that the product information be trimmed off along with the border. Anyone with a basic paper guillotine will easily be able to cleanly trim the product as desired. The road surface detail is very good and has both tyre and oil discolouration present. It is hard for me to explain my opinion of this product and I can only say that the drain gratings do not look natural to me, and that could be what is detracting from it for me. However in fairness only the end user will be able to decide if it appeals to them, if some scale paving is used in conjunction with this product it is possible it would cause me to reconsider my opinion.

Conclusion

If you have the need for posters of some description I highly recommend you take a look at the selection available from FC Modeltips. The low price for what I consider to be quality printing and reasonable quantity of posters make these items a nice selection to have in your stash for when needed. The re-sealable packaging should also insure that the product is mint condition the next time you come to use them. Very impressive printing from FC Modeltips on all of the products.
SUMMARY
Highs: The low price and high quality printing along with the re-sealable packaging make these items worth having to hand as needed.
Lows: I just cannot find any love for the 1/72nd scale road surface as it just does not appeal to me.
Verdict: I have no concerns about highly recommending the posters to you. The 1/72nd scale road surface does not appeal to me, but I would need to see what result the Braille scale modellers can manage.
