Jerry Cans

by: DMD [ DMD ]

One of my presents for X-mas was the jerry can set of Tamiya and Italeri. I'm sure that if you compare the box's you will chose for Tamiya as you expect they would have a better quality. But when I opened the box, I was disappointed. the U.S. jerry cans are wrong, they have 2 handles instead of 3. Also the German ones are missing some details which are really needed. So as I was disappointed I grab the Italeri box, my mind was telling me it would be worse then those of Tamiya (box 35026), but was I wrong. I was totally surprised by the quality of those.

They are well detailed and have the right handles. You get 30 cans and some containers for them. jerry cans are from Germany (Whermacht 1943) and US army. If you really want some nice detailed jerry cans, I advise the Italeri kit. they don\\\'t have the same reputation as Tamiya, but they are half the price and much better. Conclusion: Don\\\'t waste your time with that old Tamiya set, I\\\'m sure they would make you happy because they are worth the money.
