The Set
This set is designed for use with Resicast’s new Universal Carrier Mk I Conversion set 35.1200 and contains enough pieces to equip 2 Mk I carriers. The stowage set is supplied with a 2 page A4 instruction sheet. On page one are 5 clear B & W pictures showing the stowage in place along with instructions on how to obtain the nose up effect and a small B & W picture of the PE fret set. On the rear are 3 clear pictures, again in B & W showing the individual items which are matched to a central listing for easy identification. If you notice in the photos, the box top and the instruction sheet show different kit numbers. Resicast should have this corrected in the near future.

conclusion
Parts 1 and 2 are the large stowage pieces for the rear of the carrier. The details are crisp and clear and once the plugs are removed should required only a little clean up. All the other parts seem to be to the same high standard of moulding with no air bubbles present.

A neat addition to the set are the 2 cut down biscuit tin cookers (parts 12), which should prove useful items in any scene or dio. Also included in the kit are two sets of rear replacement suspension for the carrier, to allow modellers to achieve that nose up effect of a well loaded carrier.

SUMMARY
Highs: The inclusion of the replacement suspension set for the nose up effect is most certainly welcome. Containing enough equipment for 2 models is also, I believe, good value for the money and offers modellers a great choice of finish.
Lows: None.
Verdict: With the release of the Universal Carrier Mk I Conversion set 35.1200, this should prove a useful addition to modellers who want to give their build that little bit extra. The inclusion of the extra suspension set is a very useful item.

Greying slightly, but young at heart. I've been teaching adults off and on for most of my life. Left the services in 85 and first started modelling in about 87 for a few years. Then I had a long spell when I didn't build anything (too busy) and really just got started again during the summer of ...

They produce great items. I am stuck with Legend products, free shipping from Luck Models. But, Resicast products are certainly well done. thanks DJ

Good review Alan-thanks. I'm working on a review of the other carrier stowage set. DJ I'm sure someone must carry them in the US, If not well the extra postage is worth it.

Cheers Pat, DJ, the items should cost less if being 'exported', you should contact them and see what the USA price is, as that might off set the postage. Just a thought. AL
