introduction

I have to start off by saying that when I picked up this book, I had very little knowledge of the equipment used by the Argentine Army. After reading this book, I find myself more informed. The Tankograd Ejército Argentinon was a surprise to me on how much I did not know, and I am glad I have had the opportunity to read.

the book

The book covers equipment of the modern Argentine Army. It was interesting to see some older foreign AFVs and to learn about the in country development of some their own AFVs to include a tank and APC.

The Ejército Argentino is broken up into sections, covering different vehicle aspects. The list of sections are as follows:
- Wheeled Transport Vehicles
- Wheeled Armoured Vehicles
- Engineer Vehicles
- Artillery and Air Defence
- Tracked Armour
- Specialised Vehicles

The beginning text is a description of the Argentine Army developments and organisation, and is written in German and English. It is very informative, and interesting information.

The photographs and text do an excellent job of showing and describing the Argentine Army assets, as well as their use. The photographs are all in colour, sharp, and clear. I think some of the pictures will come to most readers as a pleasant surprise.

Tankograd has done a great job of presenting the Ejército Argentino in this book. Personally, I am glad to have had the chance to read this book, and learn about a military that is not normally printed in mainstream publications. I highly recommend this book to any armor fan.

Armorama would like to thank Tankograd Publishing for providing this review copy.
