About Jim Starkweather (staff_Jim)
FROM: NEW HAMPSHIRE, UNITED STATES

I started building models in 1971 when I was 6. My first model was a 1/32 P-40 Warhawk. Revell I believe. From there I moved onto the standard cars, Apollo spacecraft, and other kid orientated kits. Comments

Thank you for a nice review Jim! I watch your shorts even if I have the kit reviewed already just to get another perspective before starting. I like the close up series at the end. Looking forward to your comments on more modern stuff as the MTVR, more Live Resin, etc is coming out now. Thanks for your effort

Thanks for review Jim! But why Trumpeter's "little trucks" are so expensive? One of this is more expensive than a BTR, that has complete interior.

Good video Jim. I'd like to pick one up,but a couple of things are stopping me.#1 the roof hatch permantly closed and #2,as Marco mentioned,WHY are they so expensive? The Stryker mortar carrier is just over $20 with a completly detailed interior.I really don't see spending $60 to$70 on this kit. Tom

This was one of the most inspiring video reviews. I have seen for the type of subject that I would like to have. It will help make me to decide to put it in my list of things to get. I like the layout of your videos and I want to complement you on your professional presentation on the subjects that are changing this hobby.I hope there are many more to come. I agree with the others Jim, great video presentation, very professional indeed. Although the subject isn't my cup of tea I still watched the whole review
