Pinnacle Modelling Supplies is a new boy on the block that has a large number of pigments on the market aimed at the model maker.
Pinnacle Modelling Supplies may be a new name to you but they have entered the market with a selection of thirty pigments in a good selection of colours. The pigments are all supplied in 50ml clear pots with black screw top lids; it is also worth considering that each of these products is supplied at a reasonable £3.95 each. Looking through this list of pigments I can see uses for all of them but the one that really catches my eye is Raw Steel which I suspect will be of great use for any tracked vehicle.

Lol, I missed this thread completely until my good friend Darren pointed it out due to an upcoming review we have. Comparison reviews are not so much prohibited, more frowned upon as there is no way to properly get them cataloged in the database. A feature would be the way to go, possibly with a tutorial on how they were used for the comparison, unless by benchmark you are going for the cold, hard physical facts and not true performance for what we use them for. Seb, this would be quite an undertaking and would require a variety of applications. Also, color choices would be a slight factor, such as a buff-able steel pigment isn't offered by all companies. Do you have all the brands? I might be able to furnish a few, but there are quite a few different brands out there. If you are up to this, it may be interesting. Let me know. Anyway...I'm looking forward to how these new Pinnacle Pigments perform, and how they did in the review

Humbrol. Just posted that news story. I don't remember the PE bending tool, but I seem to remember a "famous" pigment comparison being done before, though not by this site, that stirred no little controversy. Thing with comparisons is, a) readers have to be convinced the writer is impartial (not the case in that one...) and b) the vendors can be quite, um, aggressive in defending their products. I seem to remember some debate about airbrushes where things got a bit out of hand; Jim may have a better memory of it than me. I think it's somehow been wiped from my mind.
